On Saturday 30 September almost one hundred and fifty people crowded into the pavilion at Himley Cricket Club for the launch of Wall Heath author Terry Church’s latest book “Another 57 Black Country Sportsmen”. Twelve of those featured were able to attend the launch in person and many others were represented by members of their family.

The grand switch on of Christmas lights in Wall Heath this year takes place on SUNDAY 29 NOVEMBER. The event organisers promise stalls, fairground rides and-of course- a chance to visit Santa in his grotto. there will also be plenty of live music from local choirs, groups and solo singers.
It runs from 123 noon until 6pm and everybody is welcome.
The launch of “The Lost Sons of wall Heath and Kingswinford” is being launched at :
Kingswinford Library on Saturday 5 December 2015 between 9am and 12 noon

Wall Heath Church of Ascension Hall on Saturday 5 December 2015 between 2pm and 5pm – refreshments will be available.

Prior to the launch of “57 Black Country Sportsmen “ the latest book to be published by Wall Heath author, Terry Church, Bridge Radio (102.5) allocated air time on Wednesday evening when Terry was interviewed by the station’s Sports Editor, Adam Parkes.
The interview saw Terry outline the careers of several of the sportsmen included in the book. Much positive feedback has been received following the interview and the book is highly recommended.
The book will be launched on Saturday 1 August at Wall Heath Community Centre, Enville Road, Wall Heath. The launch will commence at 11am although coffee will be available from 10.30am. To reserve a place please telephone 07974 428261 or email terrychurch@btclick.com
